Big Idea:  We were supposed to reflect God’s image not deflect it.  When we embrace who He made us to be we reflect Him.  When we look in the mirror for ourselves instead of Him we deflect his image.

The first 11 chapters and 2,000 years of the world’s existence, set the stage for God’s great pursuit of his crowning achievement; man who was made to reflect Him from the beginning, but chose to deflect Him in his own pursuit of deity.
